Project Consortium

The PROMISE project is implemented by a project consortium comprised of organisations from the project countries Maldives, Sri Lanka, India and international partner organisation from Germany – each with specific expertise to contribute to the overall success of the project.

The project is led and coordinated by The Maldives National University (MNU), Maldives. Parley for the Oceans as the second Maldivian project partner together  with MNU will implement project activities in Maldives. National Cleaner Production Centre (NCPC), Sri Lanka is responsible for project implementation in Sri Lanka.  The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) together with STENUM Asia from India will be impementing project activities in India, and also provide technical expertise to other project partners. adelphi research gGmbH from Germany will be leading the policy and finance components in the project.
